Abstract

The Malaysian experience with regard to coordination between the outputs of higher education and the requirements for achieving development has proven effective through the improvement in economic development indicators, in conjunction with the growing interest in their higher education, and one of the most important manifestations of that experience is the National Council for Higher Education which was invoked in Malaysia for the purpose Work to coordinate education outcomes and the needs of economic activity, and Iraq should take this experience and create a similar institution to achieve the effective role of higher education in economic activity to reach economic development.
