Abstract
The study aimed to demonstrate the impact of strategic leadership practices on the strategic sensitivity of a group of security leaders in the Salah al-Din Police Directorate and facilities. The study also aims to define the study sample with the topics (strategic leadership practices, strategic sensitivity). A comprehensive theoretical framework, and a field framework for analyzing and testing the hypotheses of the study, by relying on the questionnaire form as a basic tool for collecting data from the researched field. The researcher tries through it to describe the subject of the study, so the researcher in the study adopted a comprehensive inventory method in determining the sample size. In order to generalize the results of the study, the researcher distributed (85) forms, retrieved (79) valid for analysis. The study reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which were: The results of the current study showed the existence of a significant correlation between the variable of strategic leadership practices with its dimensions and the variable of strategic sensitivity. The study presented a set of proposals, the most important of which was that the leaders in the Salah al-Din Police Directorate and the facilities should hold continuous courses and training programs to develop the human cadre with regard to strategic thought.
