Abstract

The current research aims to measure the effect of the quality of work life on the organizational commitment of a random sample consisting of (118) teachers and schools from a community represented by (180) teachers and schools in private secondary schools in the city of Mosul. The research seeks to address the problems of increasing work turnover and leaving work intentions experienced by the researched organizations according to the two dimensions of the research and their components. Three hypotheses were adopted that were tested using simple and gradient regression analysis and correlation analysis of the data collected through the questionnaire form for the answers of the respondents. A five-Likert scale was used in all scales. The research found that there is a link between the quality of work life and the organizational commitment according to the directions of the individuals surveyed, and that improving the quality of work life affects an increase in the organizational commitment of the individuals surveyed.
