Abstract

This study aims to explore and identify the important factors that influence faculty members’ intention to adopt Industry 5.0 technologies at the University of Mosul, based on the Technical Acceptance Model (TAM). The questionnaire form was designed to survey the opinions of a sample of teachers, on a five-weighted Likert scale. (463) responses were collected based on the cross-sectional study method. Data collection began in April 2024. The data was analyzed using two programs: (AMOS) and (SPSS). The results indicate that the perceived ease of use of Industry 5.0 technologies positively and significantly affects their perceived benefits and thus affects the attitude towards use. The expected benefits also affect the attitude towards use and the intention to accept, and the attitude towards using Industry 5.0 technologies significantly affects the intention towards the use. The study emphasizes the critical role of human-robot collaboration in enhancing productivity and innovation. He stresses the need for universities to adopt these technologies to remain competitive. It recommends implementing comprehensive training and support programs coupled with continuous feedback mechanisms, in order to enhance the intention to adopt Industry 5.0 technologies at the university.
