Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of predictive analytics systems on functional cadres’ awareness of professional stability within marketing departments of experience-based institutions in Iraq. It endeavors to address the knowledge gap concerning how to balance the gains from automated forecasting with psychological concerns over its effects on professional stability in analytical and creative domains. The study employed a descriptive-analytical approach, drawing a sample of 285 employees from the marketing departments of three institutions: the Central Bank of Iraq, Basra Oil Company, and Al-Mustansiriyah University in Baghdad. A questionnaire served as the primary data collection instrument, with analysis conducted using SPSS (V.28) and AMOS (V.24).

The results revealed a moderate level of predictive analytics adoption and a high level of awareness of professional stability, with a strong positive correlation (0.712) between the two. Causal analysis confirmed that predictive analytics systems exert a statistically significant positive effect on awareness of professional stability, accounting for 58.4% of the total variance. The dimension of “market trend forecasting and decision-making support” exhibited the strongest impact. The study concludes that predictive analytics systems can enhance the sense of stability in marketing departments when oriented toward cadre empowerment rather than threat. It recommends implementing transparent communication policies to elucidate predictive analytics’ role as a supportive tool, investing in digital reskilling for cadres, and extending the model to broader applications to foster a stable and sustainable work environment.
