Abstract

The research seeks to describe and diagnose the reality of the dimensions of tourism creativity among a sample of organizations working in the recreational tourism sector in the city of Mosul. For the purposes of achieving the objectives of the research, the researchers adopted the descriptive analytical approach in the procedures of their
study, for the purpose of achieving harmonization between the nature of the research and the tools used by the researchers in describing and analyzing the phenomenon in question. The researchers found that the appropriate field for research is the field of recreational tourism in the city of Mosul, and the research community is represented by small-sized tourist facilities operating in the city of Mosul, which were represented by: (Casinos, event halls, game cities, parks, cafes, tourist villages), and with regard to The sample of the research was chosen in an intentional, stratified manner, as it consisted of: (owners, boards of directors in (Mosul Games City, Tigris City Games City, and the Tourist Village), managers of halls and cafes, their assistants, and service supervisors), This is because they are the most influential in the research topic (tourist creativity), the questionnaire prepared by the researchers after consulting was adopted. With the opinions of experts and specialists in the fields of business administration based on the (Hjalager, 2010) model of tourism creativity, which defined the dimensions of tourism creativity with: (product creativity, process creativity, administrative creativity, marketing creativity, institutional creativity), and 450 forms were distributed, Retrieved from them (421) valid for analysis purposes and with a recovery rate and validity for use (93.5%).. To analyze the field data, the researchers adopted the statistical tools provided by the statistical software (SPSS) and (Amos). The research concluded that the overall average of the answers of the individuals in the research sample was good and positive, which explains the level of understanding and care for these dimensions in the surveyed tourism sector. The research also recommended the need to seek to form a logical balance between all dimensions of tourism creativity by dealing with them as a single package that must be available in small tourism organizations in the field of research.
